DeFunkt Calls

79

It’s in TV all the time- someone is talking on the phone to their boss/spouse/inlaws, and they think they hang up, but instead just set the phone down, and then proceed to talk about the person who is still listening to everything. Has this ever happened to you? If so, or if you find yourself dropping calls and talking to nobody for minutes on end, you definitely want to check out today’s app- DeFunkt Calls, an app that will alert you whenever your call ends.

Stop Alarm

75

A few years ago, a group of friends and I were on the train in New York City, when one of the members of our group fell asleep. Being the great friends that we are, we snuck onto the next car and had a guy we didn’t know wake her up and tell her that the train was at the end of the line, and she must have missed her stop. Of course, she hadn’t really missed her stop- but if you’ve ever commuted regularly, and had that fear of missing your stop, now with Stop Alarm, whether your transit is on time or late, you can set an alarm that will go off whenever you arrive at your destination!

Don’t Feed The Trolls

90

I spend a lot of time on the internet, and therefore I have discovered that there is one cardinal rule to be obeyed around here: Don’t feed the trolls. Put that rule into practice in this game- where your goal is to feed any bears that appear and smack any troll that gets in your way!

Funamo

67

Let’s face it- lots of kids these days have cell phones. And while my first instinct would be to talk about how kids these days don’t know the meaning of hard work and tell them to get off my lawn, rational parents would likely want to have a different plan- to keep track of their kids in order to help them learn when a cellphone is okay to use and when it isn’t okay. Funamo does just that- it’s an internet filter, app time-controller, and more that will help you monitor and control when and how your child’s Android is used.
